THE CONTINENT OF SOUTH AMERICA  Facts About North America 1. This continent occupies the entire southern part of the supercontinent of the Americas, that's why is called South America.  2. It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean from the west, by the Atlantic Ocean from the east and north, by the Caribbean Sea from the northwest and connected with North America in the northeast part. An overland border between two continents stretches along the Panama-Colombian state boundary. 3. In total, there are 12 independent countries and 3 dependent territories in South America.  4. The largest country by area and the most populated is Brazil,  it occupies about 50% of the total mainland area, and more than 52% of the population live on its territory.  5. FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN DAVID AND JONATHAN Jonathan was the son of Saul, the first king of Israel.  David was the son of Jesse, a shepherd.  David and Jonathan became friends after God helped David to kill Goliath of Philistine as he lived in the house of King Saul, and married his daughter.  Jonathan and David became close when David was living in the palace.  Jonathan gave David his robe, a bow, arrow and girdle for presents as a mark of their friendship.  Jonathan chose David as his friend because he was a good boy.  He was also very brave and he trusted in the Lord.

GOAL SETTING Memory Verse: Psalms 20:4  "May He grant you your heart's desires and fulfil all your plans! A goal is what a person hopes to achieve.  Goal setting, therefore, is a guide for achieving one's plans. TWO TYPES OF GOALS 1. SHORT-TERM GOALS: This is referred to what we want to achieve in a short period of time. e.g. in a day in a week or in a month. 2. LONG-TERM GOALS: This is referred to what we want to achieve in a long period of time. e.g. in a year, in five years etc IMPORTANCE OF GOAL SETTING 1. It helps us to accomplish what we want 2. It makes us happy when we achieve the set goal 3. It makes our work easier 4. It helps us to be focused in life SOME BASIC STEPS FOR ACHIEVING GOALS 1. Pray to God to help you 2. List the goals 3. CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS In every society, there are laws, rules and regulations. They tell us we should do and what we should not do. There are laws for the whole country and rules and regulations for the home, school, institution and organisations. LAWS FOR THE WHOLE COUNTRY Every country has a constitution. The constitution outlines the laws that govern a whole country. It tells its citizens what they should do and what they should not do in society. RULES AT HOME There are rules in the home that tell us what to do and what not to do. Some of the rules that should be in our homes are: We should be obedient and respectful to everyone at home. We should not quarrel or fight our parents, brothers, sisters or servant(s). We should not complain when our parents give us work to do. We should help sweep the rooms and clean the bathroom. 5. The Last Supper This was the last meal Jesus ate with His disciples during the Passover celebration, before his arrest, trial, death, burial and resurrection. The Jews normally celebrate the Passover to mark and remember the coming out of the Israelites from the land of Egypt. Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples in Jerusalem. When the time came for the celebration of the feast, his disciples came to Him and asked of the place where they would celebrate the Passover. He directed them to a certain house to inform the landlord that He would celebrate the Passover in his house. The disciples made all necessary preparation for the feast in an upper room. As they were eating during the feast in the evening, Jesus told them that one of them would betray Him. The disciples began to ask a question about the person but He replied that the one who will dip his hand together with Him into the dish was the one to betray Him. TOPIC: PRODUCTION Production is the process through which raw materials are turned into finished goods.  It can also be described as  an organised activity of transforming resources into finished products in the form of goods and services; the objective of production is to satisfy the demand for such transformed resources.   STAGES OF PRODUCTION 1. PRIMARY PRODUCTION: This involves the extraction of raw materials from the soil or sea, for example, farming, fishing and mining. Goods available at this stage are raw materials. 2. SECONDARY PRODUCTION: This is the stage at which the raw materials are processed and transformed into finished products. This will usually take place in the manufacturing industry. 3. TERTIARY PRODUCTION: This is the stage at which the finished goods are supplied to the customers. This stage completes the production process.
