CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES
LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS
In every society, there are laws, rules and regulations. They tell us we should do and what we should not do. There are laws for the whole country and rules and regulations for the home, school, institution and organisations.
LAWS FOR THE WHOLE COUNTRY
Every country has a constitution. The constitution outlines the laws that govern a whole country. It tells its citizens what they should do and what they should not do in society.
RULES AT HOME
There are rules in the home that tell us what to do and what not to do.
Some of the rules that should be in our homes are:
We should be obedient and respectful to everyone at home.
We should not quarrel or fight our parents, brothers, sisters or servant(s).
We should not complain when our parents give us work to do.
We should help sweep the rooms and clean the bathroom.
5. We should always wash our plates and cooking utensils.
6. We should weed the compound to keep it clean.
RULES AT SCHOOL
Some of the rules at school are:
We should help sweep the classroom as well as the school compound.
We should take in the morning assembly.
We should not quarrel or fight our mates.
We should pay attention in class when the teacher is teaching.
We should obey our teachers, prefects as well as class monitors.
6. We should not: make noise in class, steal
7. We should not cheat during examination
8. We should join social and religious clubs in the school.
REGULATIONS FOR INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANISATIONS
There are regulations for institutions and organisations. These guide members on what they should do and what they should not do for them to achieve peace and progress in these institutions and organisations.
