ANCIENT EGYPT

Settlement in Ancient Egypt was dated back as far as 

5000BC.

Egypt has a river called River Nile which is the longest river in

 the world. The early settlers were mostly farmers who settled

 along the Nile River.

The kingdom of ancient Egypt was ruled by dynasties of 

kings. It has 31 dynasties until it was conquered by 

Alexander the Great in 332 BC. 

King Menes was the one who unite the Upper and Lower Egypt.

EGYPTIAN RELIGION

Egyptians worshipped many gods and goddesses. Some of 

their gods/goddesses are:

1. Amon-Re

2. Osiris’

3. Isis-goddess

4. Horus

EGYPTIAN LIFE

They believed in life after death and that is why they usually

 preserved the dead using the process of mummification.

They also have the Egyptian Pyramid which has attracted so 

many tourists to Egypt.

They were very civilized and they usually used herbs to cure illness. They are also good in keeping records. The Egyptians used Papyrus as an early form of paper made from reeds, to write. They also had social classes, with the Pharaohs and royal family at the top.
