THE FEEDING OF THE FIVE THOUSAND-YEAR 2

THE FEEDING OF THE FIVE THOUSAND

(John 6:5-14)

Memory Verse: John 6:5 "...How are we to buy bread, so

that these people may eat?"

One day, Jesus was preaching to a crowd numbering five

thousand and when it was evening, they were all hungry and the

disciples wanted to send them away because there was no

food but Jesus refused.

A small boy among the crowd gave Jesus five loaves of bread

and two fish. Jesus then prayed to God and God used His

power to multiply the five loaves of bread and two fish.

The people ate and were satisfied and the disciples collected

the leftover and it filled twelve baskets.
