PAUL'S CONVERSION-YEAR 6

Paul’s Conversion

MEMORY VERSE: ACTS 9:4 “And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul why do you persecute me…?”

Paul’s Proposed Mission to Damascus

As Paul continued his persecution of the disciples of the Lord,

he collected letters from the high priests in Jerusalem in

order to arrest Christians in the synagogue at Damascus.

On his way, he encountered Jesus and was struck blind and

he was led by his friends to Damascus where he remained

blind for three days without food and water. Later, the Lord

sent Ananias to pray for him to regain his sight. He was also

baptized and he started preaching about Jesus in the

Synagogue in Damascus.

Importance of Paul’s conversion

1. It led to the spread of Christianity.

2. Paul converted many people.

3. He established many churches in all the places he visited.
