POVERTY AND DISEASE Poverty is the state of being very poor. All over the world, there are people who live in poverty. SOME OF THE FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO POVERTY ARE: v Over-population v Under-development v Corrupt governments v War v Debt v Diseases Also, Infectious diseases such as malaria , tuberculosis ,  cholera and diarrhoea occur as a result of lack of clean  water, bad sanitation and lack of access to good food.  Also, malnutrition and diseases such as kwashiorkor and dysentery affect children.
